Babson College
2023 Graduation Ceremony
Originally this was designed as a stage backdrop for Babson College's 2023 graduation ceremony. It ended up turning into the entrance to the graduation tent as the overall event design changed.
The walls are a recreation of Babson's campus main entrance wall. Most of the grey stone is foam, the rest of the structure is wood and pvc.

Foam Floral
The design theme was mainly floral in nature, however the event space lent itself to some taller center pieces.

For the low center pieces I built custom planters to hold low floral elements that give the illusion of a forest floor.

The tall center pieces are mostly foam, which makes up the upper pedals and leaves.
The stem is pvc pipe that was heated up slowly and bent around a form to create the curves.

Camp Circle
Everything but the bonfire.
The teepees took quite a bit of work to get right.
The posts started off as square 8' long fir lumber,
they ended up as 4" round 16' long posts. They are completely free standing and acted as two food
stations.

The front entrance was pretty straight forward in comparison. Getting the color arrangement correct
was the hardest part.
Dueling Piano Float
A stage that's a float that's a piano...
The client wanted this event to have a
pep rally/parade look to it. I was tasked at building
a stage that looked like a parade float to hold
a dueling piano band.

The "float" itself is in the shape of a piano and the
decking mimics piano keys. Underneath it's
constructed like a normal deck/stage, the wheels are
purely decorative.
