The two cabinets house audio equipment and the rest of the shelving is primarily used for records. Due to the weight of the records each shelf has steel reinforcement running the full length of the shelf.
This was quite the challenge, mainly due to the passenger windows. This specific van started off as a 15 passenger van, hence the windows.
In addition to the carpentry there was a fair bit of electrical and plumbing work that went into this van.
Built to make better use of two alcoves flanking the central fireplace and act as the centerpiece of the room. Made mostly of plywood and hung using an off the shelf "hidden door" style hinge.
A classic farmhouse table and bench set for a clients eat in kitchen. The tabletop and benchtop are made from pacific maple, the white painted surfaces are pine.
